"This card is the first one I've sent out that has actually had tons of compliments. Many have suggested that we enter it in "something" because it is such a beautiful and graphic card. I used a simple photo of my kids with a bold red background for the front cover. I also had modern looking photos taken (at the Seattle downtown lib). I found that close up photos with simple backgrounds worked best. I mixed color with black and white photos since there are 6 photo pages. The simplicity of our photos allowed the design of the card to compliment rather than compete with them."
