"I was actually looking to create a birthday invitation for my son's 1st birthday. I wanted something with primary-type colors and NOT pastels. If you knew my kid, he's a primary kind of little guy, not a pastel one. If that makes sense to anybody. I was looking through the birthday invitation section of Tiny Prints and could NOT find what I wanted. So, I went to the baby announcement section and saw this design. I HAD to have it. I messed around with it to see how it would look with my information on it. I did go to other sites including Shutterfly, Walmart, Snapfish, Kodak (I wanted an invite with his photo on it), and compared the invites that I liked and hands down, I wanted to have this one. I did splurge on it because it is his first birthday and my only child, but it was worth it! Also, the colors in the invite (I just changed ALL the information on this baby announcement to make it a birthday invite...very easy!!) matched the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme of his party.
I wasn't sure how the invite was going to turn out...meaning if it was going to be glossy like a photo or on cheap paper..I took my chances only to be pleasantly suprised by the quality of both the photo of my son and the quality of the paper. The invite was printed on thick cardstock and the clarity of the photo and the lettering was sharp and perfect. Better than I had expected. The envelopes were also of thick quality.
EVERY person, I'm not exaggerating, EVERY person that RSVP'd (about 15) made some sort of comment on how cute the invites were and asked where I got them. I was very proud of the way they turned out and I plan on using Tiny Prints again in the future.
The ONLY complaint I had before I had my hands on the actual product was that the price was a little steep. But I also realized that you get what you pay for and I would definitely pay this amount again!"

Great announcement
Pros: Modern
"I loved this announcement design for several reasons. The main one was was that it used nice bright colors instead of the typical blue/pink/pastel styles. I also appreciated that it was so customizable, so we could tailor all the text to what we wanted to include. We borrowed a phrase from another card "Our little man is finally here" for the top. We also changed the name color to red. The cards arrived printed on sturdy card stock, and the picture and colors looked vibrant and crisp. All around great experience."

"I liked this card because it stands out from the pack of traditional baby boy announcements. It was eye-catching, but not overly flashy. All in all, a great announcement that I think should look great in my baby's scrapbook."
