"I chose this card over others because of the soft, feminine color scheme and quantity of images it could accommodate. The print quality of the photos was extremely clear and professional. Although the announcements were satisfactory, they were smaller than anticipated. Since my baby was born around Thanksgiving, I sent birth announcements just prior to Christmas cards. The paper quality on these announcements was much thinner than my Tiny Prints holiday cards. I don't think it would be noticable unless compared side by side, however."

"My daughter's birth Announcement was absolutely beautiful. I chose the BAnded Toille: Chenille design. The colors were pink and gray and looked so delicate. The paper was high quality, however I did expect them to come on photo paper so when they came flat I was a bit surprised. They still look great and everyone said how beautiful they were! I was very happy with the company and they were shipped out immediately. I had them within a couple of days."

"I love this announcement. The picture quality wasn't as great as I was expecting, but it's still a great card. I might have been expecting a glossy picture, so I was a little surprised when I received it, but that was my own fault."

We're sorry this customer was disappointed with her printed photo. Both her photo and the art file we used for print were excellent quality, so we think she is correct about the matte vs. glossy issue.
Matte cardstock has a higher dot gain (the spread of the feathered ink dot on the paper), which softens the image. To those who are used to a glossier look, it may appear less crisp than the original image on the screen. However, for most of our customers who prefer a matte print, the printed cards appear softer and warmer.
Tiny Prints does not offer any designs on glossy photo paper.

"Quality of the print was amazing. It looked absolutly beautiful. All our friends just loved it. The best part was that they sent them all out for me! Oh and customer service is awesome. They caught that I spelled something wrong and called me up to make sure that I wanted it fixed. When I called them back, I didn't have to wait on hold for more than a minute to speak with someone. I used Tiny Prints for both my children's birth announcements and will continue to use them for holiday cards and much more."

"I spent a lot of time picking the "perfect" announcement and I'm so so pleased with how these turned out. I love that it has 3 photo spots. I was able to do a classic close up of her face, a fun one where she is wearing a big flower and hat and a picture of our whole family. My mom received hers today and called me to rave about how beautiful they turned out. She said it was the classiest most tasteful birth announcement she had ever gotten and she has great taste!"
